 Big Ivy National Forest Barnardsville, NC Claire and I took a drive out to the Big Ivy National Forest and hiked up the trailhead for a bit. We got there a little later than we'd anticipated getting there and so we didn't get to hike quite as far as we had hoped to. But I still got to see the park a bit. As a comical aside, I had a lot of my mind when we left her house and so I accidentally left Atti's leash on the top of her car. Claire remembered hearing a loud bang, but it was a good 5 miles away from her house. I wound up using a USB cord as a leash for Atti, but on the way back, Claire remembered the general location where she heard the noise. Sure enough, we managed to find the leash on the side of the highway. Surprisingly, it was still in good working order. |
