Black Sands Beach
Waikato, New Zealand

After Tisa and I left Te Mata peak, we started winding around some more of the roads towards the more southerly part of the North Island.

As we were driving, we just happened to come across the entrance to what appeared to be a black sand beach. I drove the camper van across some railroad tracks and up to the edge of the sand (as not to get stuck) and sure enough, a black sand beach.
