Building the Tyligo
Austin, TX

Another one of my many project for people was a picnic table that I made for one of Tisa's brothers, Kert. The Tyligo, as I dubbed it on account of the Greek roots, was a picnic table that sat on hinges and thus allowed for the table tops to fold down into two benches.

The original idea for this type of bench was actually something that my friend Blake Ledet had found in high school (he actually made a bunch of them and I helped him to sell them).

Though I originally had this as three albums, I went ahead and combined them all into one.

Dave was specifically used in some of the pictures as my 'comfort' subject. I think he agreed that the benches were just at the right angle for comfort. I'll have to find out what happened to this project some day.
