 Canyon Lake Gorge Canyon Lake, TX My dear friend Mark got me invited on a private tour of the Canyon Lake Gorge. The Gorge was created in 2002 after the devastating floods that tore through central Texas (11 people died). It was carved in just a couple of days after the dam overflowed. Evidently it's one of the most visible fault lines in the entire world. In fact, a picture of the fault was recently featured on the cover of geological magazines. I'm told that geologists and engineers flock to this spot from around the world just to see the gorge. |
