 Fort William Fort William, Scotland, UK I don't think any of us found Fort William to be all that interesting, but we did take an amazing train ride. Caroline actually bought us all tickets (in advance) to ride the famous Jacobite train from Fort William to Mallaig. If it looks familiar to you, it's because it's the same steam train that was used in the Harry Potter movies. The viaduct halfway through the 2 hour route is also iconic from the movie.
