As it turns out, Neil Patrick Harris (aka: Doogie Howser) is one of the producers of the show that Liz works on. He wanted to have a little appreciation party out at his house and boy was that a nice party.
He and his partner's house overlooks all of the hills of Los Angeles. The party was catered with all sorts of delicious food and had a fully staffed bar.
