Skiing Mt. Ashland Rogue River National Forest, OR
While working up in Medford (with Musician's Friend), I thought I'd check out the local ski area, Mt. Ashland.
I guess if you've never skied before, this would be a pretty cool thing. However, it's by far the smallest mountain I've ever skied. It literally would take me about 3 minutes to get from the summit to the basin, and then about another 20 or so minutes to get back up there.
I'm glad I checked it out and added another notch on my ski belt, but I wouldn't really recommend going out of your way to visit the place.
