Stirling Castle
Stirling, Scotland, UK

This was another of the highlights of my trip as I had always wanted to explore a castle.

It was surprisingly smaller than I imagined it would be, though definitely a pretty cool piece of history.

This is the castle that William Wallace (made famous in Braveheart) successfully defended in the early 1300s during the famous Battle of Stirling Bridge.

Of course he was later literally cut to pieces by the English, but that's another story.

In this album: Caroline Ivy, Flag, Flag of Scotland, William Wallace Monument
