 Stirling Castle Stirling, Scotland, UK This was another of the highlights of my trip as I had always wanted to explore a castle. It was surprisingly smaller than I imagined it would be, though definitely a pretty cool piece of history. This is the castle that William Wallace (made famous in Braveheart) successfully defended in the early 1300s during the famous Battle of Stirling Bridge.
