Train Ride: Auckland to Wellington

With the family in town for two weeks, our first adventure was to take the train from Auckland all the way down to Wellington.

Although this sounded like a great idea, it turned out to be anything but that. There were definitely some nice parts that we wound up going through, but the train was terribly slow and there really wasn't much of anything to eat throughout the ten hour journey.

Even though it wasn't the best train ride ever, I was happy to have gone on it so that I could see even more of New Zealand.
