Who is Tyler Canon? It's slightly difficult to explain exactly what the intention of this was, but essentially some guy tried to get into one (perhaps a few) of the pictures we were taking. Consequently, Kujda labeled him as the douchbag of the bar. Nevertheless, since he was so interested in being in our photos, we thought we might as well try and get everyone to pose with him. , this one's for you.
Trudy's With Eric Just a handful of us out to dinner when Eric came into town. As is a pretty typical place for us to go, we headed over to Trudy's North.
Home Office Pics Who knows what I was trying to accomplish with this little photo shoot in my Village Oaks office.
Red, White, and Blue? Tracy and I were at a stoplight on the corner of Metric and Gracy Farms and happened to see this guy walking on the southeast corner. With the camera handy, who wouldn't have snapped off a shot of this American patriot?
Axel Lane Fence Building Thankfully I had Preston to help me with this one. After I had already cleared the land, measured and planted the stakes, used the auger to create 3 ft deep holes, and set the posts by myself, it was finally time to install the fence. I had a 330ft long cattle fence in addition to 1200ft of barbed-wire to wrap across the front of the property. It took Preston and I the better part of a day to complete this task, but it looked great once it was finally up.
Axel Lane Bluebonnets After my dad was done with my brothers [album=435]pergola and rock path[/album], we went out to my property to take a look around. I was pleasantly surprised to see just how many bluebonnets had come in since I'd last been out there.
Melissa Henry's Apartment This was a little trip that Eric, Amy, and I made out to Brooklyn in an effort to see Melissa Henry's (Henroid's) apartment. I got to meet a bunch of interesting characters there, many of whom were from Austin. Evidently that little area in Brooklyn was quickly filling with people from the Austin area.
Installing Preston's Hardwoods Unfortunately I never have received the originals of this photo set thus leaving the pictures with low resolution, but this gallery is from when we installed the first room of hardwoods at Preston's house. Preston, Bug, and I started working on the room and ultimately Preston and I finished it.
Village Oaks Office When I was still getting familiar with some of the auto photo stitching software available out there, I ran a little experiment to see if I could take pictures from my ceilings point of view and stitch them together. Unfortunately the process didn't work quite as expected.
From Los Angeles to Austin After two weeks in the car and all across the southwest of the United States with the Kiwis (Nick and Ruth), I finally had to make my way back to Austin.
