Houston Zoo of Lights with Jonas I went with my nephew to the Houston Zoo of lights over the Thanksgiving holiday. Unfortunately the pictures are all terrible because my Android takes the worst photos imaginable. Jonas and I ran all over the place and I think he was pretty happy to have his uncle in crime!

Foshan Factory Tour Part of our voyage to China was so that Ben could meet with the factory that his company does business with. They needed to have new aluminum components manufactured and he was there to ensure this went over smoothly and efficiently.

Panda! Rather than come up with a description of this album myself, I thought I would just copy and paste what Brooke posted to her Facebook wall. Two nights ago Kevin asked me to come over. He sat me on his couch and said, "Girlfriend, I have something for you. It's a surprise. You must close your eyes." When I opened them I saw the cutest creature I'd ever laid my eyes on! He knew I'd been scanning ads and rescue groups endlessly trying to find a bulldog, with no luck. He knew I couldn't afford most, so I was limited in my search. All I have to say is that this (she) is THE most amazing gift I have ever received!! Thank you, Sweetheart! I am sooo happy to have Panda Bear the Frenchie as my newest loving companion!!

The Last T-Bird Show For their very last show at the famed Continental Club on South Congress in Austin, T-Bird got in touch with half a dozen or more of their older band members from over the years. Most of these were previous backup singers, but they did have some older guitarists and horns players. I decided I would go and get a full photo shoot out of the night including a few videos. It took me a little while to get the light settings right inside of the club with the movement from the band, but I think the album turned out pretty amazing overall.

Hanging with Felip My dear friend Felip from Grand Rapids was looking at possibly moving to Austin and so he came to stay with me. After getting a number of options, he ultimately decided that he wasn't going to live in Austin and instead moved up to Seattle. I was just happy he spent a few weeks looking around so we got to hang out and enjoy our late nights of philosophizing about the world

XMas with Brooke's Family Brooke's parents were in town for the Christmas holiday and so we spent the afternoon and evening with them and little Panda in Brooke's new Mueller home.

Panda and a Play Brooke needed some help watching Panda one evening, but at the same time I had a handful of friends coming over to enjoy a Rude Mechs presentation too. I got to enjoy the first half of the evening with little Panda and the second half of it with some friends at a wonderful performance.

TX NORML Speech 2016 As a 2016 candidate for the Texas House of Representatives, TX NORML invited me to come out and give a speech to their members about my experiences with marijuana, my experiences with marijuana activism, and to talk about my candidacy. Playing with Lolly So it's no surprise to anyone that Lolly is my most favorite dog in the whole world. This is an album dedicated to the little adventures that I've taken her on. She's adorable, brilliant, and I love that I get to play with her every day of the week.
